Jon Chadwick at the Passive House Trust Conference

Associated Architects continued their active involvement with the all things Passivhaus with Associate Jon Chadwick speaking at the 2015 “Passive House Trust Conference” in London.

Jon spoke about the new Centre for Medicine at the University of Leicester which is set to become the largest non-domestic Passivhaus in the country. In addition to contract requirements for an EPC “A” rating and BREEAM “Excellent” the building will also target a DEC “A” rating during a three year ‘soft landings’ programme of working with the client, building occupants and design team to minimise energy usage in operation. Jon’s presentation can be downloaded via the Passive House Trust website “here”

Earlier this year, Director James Hall received his Certified European Passivhaus Designer accreditation.
