Parkside wins Insider Property Award

“The Parkside Building”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/biad/, phase one of our City Centre Campus masterplan for Birmingham City University, was the winner of the Sustainability category at the Insider Property awards last night. The new home for the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, which has a BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rating, utilises photovoltaic cells and a biomass boiler to provide renewable energy sources for the building. Phase 2, the second phase of Associated Architects’ masterplan for Birmingham City University, is currently onsite with completion anticipated in 2015.
