UoB Library Timelapse Video

The construction of Associated Architects’ designed new campus library at the University of Birmingham has been documented in a timelapse video, captured by the University’s webcam.

Enabling works commenced in March 2014; removing the existing running track, and construction starting in July 2014. Traffic was rerouted to the new road in December 2014 and topping out was celebrated in June 2015.

The library opens in time for the new academic year in August 2016.
