Ranked 44th in the AJ100 2013

This month Associated Architects was ranked 44th in the AJ100, a huge growth from last year’s position of 70th. AA was also recognised as the largest Practice operating solely out of Birmingham. Results, collected as part of a national survey of architectural practices, are calculated based on the number of ARB-registered architects employed by the Practice. The Practice’s growth signals a renewed optimism within the region, despite uncertainty within the wider construction industry.

Associated Architects director James Hall commented, _‘We’ve found that through a continued commitment to environmentally responsible and socially compassionate buildings, we have fared very well through the current times. It’s true that all institutions operating within the building sector have faced their own set of challenges. However, it’s also a fantastic time for responsibly minded practices to lead the pack in terms of re-addressing the manner in which the industry conducts itself._

_‘It’s been a great 45th year in Practice and our 10th as an LLP. Whilst the climate in the construction industry remains uncertain, we hope this year’s growth marks a turning point and shows the shared optimism held within our profession.’_
