Join our Landscape Team

We are looking for a graduate/ assistant landscape architect with a passion for design, curiosity and growth mindset to join our team.

With emerging technical knowledge gained through at least two years of working in practice, you will share our strong belief in the value that landscape architecture can bring to people and places.

Job Description:

The role will assist senior team members in the design and implementation of various landscape projects. Working across a number of key sectors including education, residential/ mixed use and urban regeneration, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to all stages of projects, from concept and feasibility studies through to planning applications, detailed design, specification, implementation and contract administration.
  • Collating site analysis to gather relevant information for project planning and design.
  • Collaborating with senior team members to develop design concepts and proposals for landscape projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials, including drawings, renderings, and visualisations, to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Participating in client meetings and project reviews to gather feedback and refine design solutions.
  • Undertake site visits with colleagues.
  • Continuing professional development through participation in training programs, workshops, and industry events to expand knowledge and skills in landscape architecture.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Undergraduate, Post-graduate or Masters level qualification in Landscape Architecture from an accredited Landscape Architecture Course.
  • Minimum 2-years practice experience required.
  • Student licentiate member of the Landscape Institute either working towards their chartership or keen to start their journey towards their professional qualification.
  • Strong design skills and graphic ability, including freehand sketching, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modelling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit).
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to confidently convey design ideas visually and verbally.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of landscape architecture, with a commitment to professional development.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A full driving licence is desirable to help facilitate site visits, though we actively encourage all staff to use public transport whenever this is practical.

You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
