Guardian University Awards

Our “Parkside Building”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/biad/ for Birmingham City University has been awarded runner up in the 2014 Guardian University Awards – Facilities project category. The awards criteria focus on innovation, delivery and impact. The judges noted how state of the art facilities and engagement between the University and high profile companies such as Triumph, Ferrari and Cadbury’s has led to a 4% rise in applications, a stark contrast to the 13% average national drop for comparative courses at other universities. This month Parkside was also awarded a regional RIBA architecture award.
