Gisbert Kapp Car Park Complete

Associated Architects £5.2m “multi storey car park”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/new-gisbert-kapp-car-park/, adjacent to the University of Birmingham’s Gisbert Kapp building, has been completed. The North East car park will provide the campus with an additional 492 car parking spaces and 24 cycle parking spaces. The use of terracotta rainscreen cladding has been made to respond to the nearby “Gisbert Kapp”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/gisbert-kapp/ building, renovated by Associated Architects in 2011.

Jennifer Song, project architect said, _‘It’s fantastic now the project is complete and we hope that it eases the day to day travel of the University staff and students. We have worked hard to make sure that the car park sits respectfully within the site and compliments the surrounding buildings.’_
