Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery Opens New Galleries

Associated Architects has worked with “Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/culture/bmag/ to reconfigure part of the Grade II* listed city centre building on Chamberlain Square. The new gallery spaces and reorganised internal layout form part of an £8.9m refurbishment to create ‘Birmingham, its people, its history’.

These new galleries will be open to the public from 12th October 2012 following an opening by poet and writer Benjamin Zephaniah.
