International Women’s Day 2023

The Birmingham Architectural Association hosted their annual Women in Architecture event which included 3 members of the Associated Architects Birmingham Team.

Bethany Long – Part I architectural assistant is the incumbent Vice President of the BAA and the Focus Group Lead for Women In Architecture. She organised the evening curating an exhibition of 20 of the city’s talented women working in the industry and hosted the event introducing the key note speakers for the evening.

Lauren Francis – Part II Architectural Assistant and Zoë Brittle Chartered Architectural Technologist were selected to be part of the exhibition which showcased the amazing work undertaken by women of the architectural industry in the city. They showcased the projects they are currently involved in, Bolton College of Medical Sciences and the HS2 Interchange Multi-Storey Car Park.

We are really proud of Beth, Lauren and Zoë’s involvement and are always impressed by the amount of amazing and trans formative work that the women of  architecture in Birmingham put on show!
