Edward Boyle is ‘Best Conserved Building’ at Leeds Awards

The Edward Boyle Library at the University of Leeds was awarded ‘Most Outstanding Conserved Building’ at the Leeds Architecture Awards 2019. We are really happy to have taken home this prize for our conversion of the Grade II listed Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, 1970s modernist building.

Despite our breadth of experience working within the HE sector, we are always thrilled when we are faced with a new and complex design challenge and Edward Boyle was exactly that. Our refurbishment transformed a 1970s library design into a high quality, contemporary educational facility, whilst retaining the unique character of the listed building.
