Another huge retrofit for Birmingham well underway

The transformation of 19 Cornwall Street in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District is progressing rapidly. Our latest Birmingham retrofit project is set to deliver a 139,000 sq ft, net-zero-carbon-in-operation, smart-enabled office building.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and innovation, this project is targeting a NABERS rating of 5 stars, alongside goals for International WELL Building Institute GOLD and BREEAM Excellent accreditations. These certifications reflect our dedication to creating workspaces that are not only energy-efficient but also prioritise the health and well-being of their occupants.

Key features of the building will include a stunning 32-meter-high central atrium that will serve as the heart of the office space, providing natural light and a sense of openness throughout. Interactive breakout areas are designed to foster collaboration and creativity, while a beautifully planted communal roof terrace will offer an outdoor space amidst the urban environment.

In line with the needs of occupants, the building will offer 150 secure parking spaces, including facilities for electric vehicle (EV) charging, supporting a sustainable approach to commuting. These thoughtful design elements ensure that 19 Cornwall Street will be an exemplary space for future tenants, combining cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility.

As we move closer to completion, we invite you to stay tuned for updates on this fantastic retrofit project.
