Making Connections at the University of Wolverhampton Event

Associated Architects attend University of Wolverhampton ‘Meet the Employer’ event

Associated Architects were delighted to attend the annual Meet the Employer event at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, held at the University of Wolverhampton’s Springfield Campus.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with the University’s talented architecture students and graduates, sharing insights into the practice and career pathways within the industry.

Representing the practice were Director Alex Paul and Mubs Ahmed, Architect and Wolverhampton alumnus, who spoke with students about the realities of architectural practice and opportunities within the profession.

The event was held in the Lady Aruna Swraj Paul Building, home to the School of Architecture and the Built Environment — a building designed by Associated Architects. The project is a triple RIBA Award-winning scheme, and was shortlisted for the RIBA Reinvention Award, recognising its exemplary approach to adaptive reuse and sustainable design.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Karis Cochrane and Head of School Olive White for inviting us and organising such an engaging event that continues to strengthen the link between education and practice.
