A strong performance for us as we are ranked 66th in the Architects’ Journal AJ100 2025, marking a 26-place rise from last year and our highest position in over a decade.
The AJ100 is the definitive index of the largest architecture practices in the UK, and our rise in the rankings is a clear reflection of the sustained growth of the practice. With 42 qualified architects across our three studios, we now have the largest architectural team we’ve had in more than ten years.
This year’s listing also represents a significant milestone: it is our first full year as an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). In 2024, we transitioned to employee ownership to better align the future of the practice with the people who shape it every day. As we noted at the time:
“Our people are our biggest asset, and the move to an EOT enables us to ensure the company will be run in the long-term interest of our employees build on our heritage, whilst preserving the culture and values that have been the bedrock of over five decades of success.”
Since becoming an EOT, we’ve seen a renewed sense of engagement across the business—empowering staff, enhancing collaboration, and strengthening our ability to attract and retain top talent. These values have translated into the work we produce, from low-carbon retrofits and education campuses to workplace and civic projects with long-term community impact.
This ranking in the AJ100 reflects the commitment, creativity, and expertise of our growing team. As we continue to evolve, our people-first approach remains central to our success, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the years to come.
