Last week the ground was broken at the site of the Health Futures building, a project being designed for the West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Wolverhampton. On site BAM Construction and Associated Architects are working hard to deliver the University Technical College during 2015.
Alongside typical educational functions, the scheme includes specialist science laboratories; a Simulation & Skills Suite, including a mock hospital ward, a Visualisation Suite featuring immersive projection technology, a Human Performance Suite, fitness gym, activity studio, 150-person lecture theatre and a café. The BREEAM Very Good rated UTC will be equipped to the highest standards, and aims to promote an ethos of a place of learning and training.
