20th Anniversary

Today, Associated Architects’ Director Warren Jukes celebrates his 20 year anniversary at the practice. On this day precisely 20 years ago, a young Warren Jukes entered the Associated Architects’ office in the Jewellery Quarter as a Part II Architectural Assistant having graduated from Birmingham City University. His first project was the Greenbank Building for the University of Central Lancashire.

Since then Warren has risen to a Director of the business collecting many Awards and accolades along the way, and has even met the Queen. He has worked on the Birmingham Hippodrome, The Mailbox and worked for the University of Leicester, London, Birmingham and Coventry to name but a few. His latest project at the University of Leicester; the Centre for Medicine, is the largest Passivhaus building in the UK, and his design for the University of Birmingham’s new £42m Library is due to complete later this year.

To mark the occasion Warren sent 20 tweets, 1 for every year. You can see them via his twitter feed here: https://twitter.com/warrenjukes
