Birmingham City Council have given the green light for “Phase 2”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/city-centre-campus-phase-ii/ of Birmingham City Universiy’s City Centre Campus. Well done to all involved.
We are pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the “Post & Mail”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/workplace/post-and-mail/ project; on the site of the remaining portion of John H Madin and Partners’ Post and Mail complex has now started on site.
We are very pleased to announce that from our three shortlisted projects, the “Metallurgy & Materials Building Refurbishment”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/met-and-mat-refurbishment/ project at the University of Birmingham won an AJ Retrofit Award in the ‘Listed Building/Structures: Post War’ category last night. Well done to all involved.

Birmingham City University’s City Centre Campus Phase 1 building topped out on the 26th July. In celebration the University has put together a promotional video featuring Associated Architects. The video highlights how this unique facility supporting 3 faculties was conceived and designed. Future students have a lot to look forward to!
