Centre for Medicine Ground Breaking Ceremony

Yesterday, Director Warren Jukes was present at the ground breaking of the site for the “Centre for Medicine”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/universities/medical-teaching-building/ at Leicester University. The £42m building, which will be built to Passivhaus standards, will cater for teaching, research, conferences and provide high quality support space. Works are scheduled to complete in 2015.

Warren Jukes said, _“Over 33% of the new Centre will be solely dedicated to researching chronic diseases, while the rest of the facility will be delivering the highest quality learning environments for the doctors of tomorrow. It’s an honour to be part of a project that will be undertaking such vital and positive work.”_
