Celebrating Success at the Building The Future Awards 2024

Last Friday evening, our team had the pleasure of attending the Building The Future Awards 2024 at Aston Villa Football Club. This event brought together professionals from across the industry to celebrate individuals for innovation, excellence, and leadership within the construction and built environment sectors.

We were especially proud to cheer on our Birmingham-studio Part II Apprentice, Bethany Long, who was a finalist in the Role Model of the Year category. Beth’s place in the finals was in recognition for her work championing diversity, inclusion, and professional growth in the field of architecture. Her efforts include actively supporting Women in Architecture and mentoring young female professionals as they enter the industry, and her role as a former Vice President and now current President of the Birmingham Architectural Association.

We are thrilled to share that Beth was awarded the Highly Commended prize, recognising her outstanding contributions to promoting gender equality and supporting the next generation of architects in the region.

This recognition is a well-deserved celebration of Beth’s hard work, passion, and commitment to making architecture a more inclusive and accessible profession.
