WMG Academy Starts on Site

Kier Construction has started on site at the £8m “Warwick Manufacturing Group Academy for Young Engineers”:http://www.www.associated-architects.co.uk/projects/education/schools/wmg-academy/ in Coventry. Completion is planned for 2014. The facility, part of the Westwood Academy, will cater for 640 students between the school years of 10 and 13. Partners of the project include University of Warwick, Jaguar Land Rover, Prodrive, National Grid, Tata Motors and Bosch.

A “taster day”:http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/wmgacademy/news/news/tastereventnovember/ is scheduled for late November, with the aim of promoting the site and encouraging young people attend the facility.
