STEPtember returns to Associated Architects

STEPtember returns to Associated Architects

This September the Associated Architects team will once again be putting their best foot forward for STEPtember, aiming to take 15 million steps across the month while raising money for local social enterprise and charity JERICHO as well as the nationwide property-industry homeless charity Land Aid.

Social Value Lead Beth Astington said

Our annual month-long charitable activities are a highlight in the AA calendar. STEPtember 2022 saw the team aim for 10 million steps – this time we’re aiming for 15 million and raising even more than the almost £3,000 we raised in STEPtember 2022. Staff have chosen to raise money in support of JERICHO, a Birmingham-based charity and family of social enterprises that provides supported work opportunities for marginalised young people and survivors of modern slavery. We are delighted to be supporting such a great cause.”

All three offices will be taking part, with staff boosting their step counts with planned lunchtime walks, walking meetings, friendly competitions, as well as the regular run club. As part of the month, a number of team members will also take part in the St Modwen Annual 5k / 10k Charity Run supporting Land Aid.
