National Cycle to Work Day 2015

This morning staff from Associated Architects got on their bikes to ride to work for “‘Cycle to Work Day 2015′”:https://www.cycletoworkday.org/.

Meeting at 8am for breakfast at “Madeleine”:http://www.madeleinefinefoods.com/ before work, a combined total of 116 commuting miles were pledged between us.

Cycle to Work Day is a national event held each year to encourage everyone to take to two wheels and cycle to work for at least one day. According to the census data, 760,000 people in the UK cycle to work regularly – this number keeps growing steadily, but with Cycle to Work Day’s help the aim is to make those numbers skyrocket this year and beyond! By 2021, the aim is to see one million people regularly commuting to work by bike.
