Jonathan Davey

Position: Senior Associate

Management Team

Jonathan joined Associated Architects in 2011 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2024.

He has a broad range of experience across a variety of sectors and a proven ability to manage the complex design challenges associated with large, multi-phased projects. His most significant achievements during this time with the practice include delivering Copper Works – a 23-storey residential tower in Capital Quarter, Cardiff – and the final phase of Jaguar Land Rover’s £1bn Engine Manufacturing Centre. Upon completion, the first phase of the Post and Mail complex went on to win several awards, including the MSCP which was recognised with a European Gold Standard Parking Award and awards in the 2017, 2018 and 2020 British Parking Awards, including Car Park of the Year.

He leads the work of the practice in the blue light sector and has delivered multiple projects for West Midlands Police. He has also served other public sector clients such as Birmingham City Council, as well as several regional charities including the Birmingham Museums Trust, St Richard’s Hospice and the Birmingham Dog’s Home.

Jonathan has management responsibility for quality assurance standards and compliance and he is often consulted by colleagues seeking advice on legal and technical matters.
