We’re delighted to share that Katy Claridge, an Apprentice based in our Oxford Studio, has been named a finalist in the Apprentice Ambassador category at the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2025.
Katy is currently undertaking her architectural training through the RIBA apprenticeship route, studying at the University of Nottingham while gaining hands-on experience as part of our practice. Her passion, creativity, and dedication to architecture and advocacy for alternative routes into the profession have made her a standout member of our team.
In addition to her studies and project work, Katy plays a key role in HiBarn Apprentices, an online platform she founded to inform and inspire future architects. Through blog posts, videos, and social media content, she shares valuable insights into the realities of studying and working as an architecture apprentice—helping to demystify the process and encourage more people to explore this rewarding pathway to qualification.
Being recognised as an Apprentice Ambassador finalist is a fantastic achievement and testament to the impact Katy is having both within our studio and across the wider architectural community.
Congratulations Katy—and best of luck at the awards!
