Library Topping out Film

At the beginning of June a topping out ceremony for the “new library” at the University of Birmingham was marked and celebrated by all those involved in the project. A commemorative slab was laid with a quote by Professor Morris Zapp taken from David Lodge’s novel, “A Small World.” To mark the event the University commissioned a video to catalogue the events of the day, progress at the site and features a brief appearance by Associated Architects’ Director Warren Jukes.
